EDF Chemical Scorecard

More Projects

Environmental Defense Fund (EDF) Chemical Scorecard - (Note: The most current maps on the Chemical Scorecard were created in house by Environmental Defense. We created the maps and data required for their launch with the 1995 TRI data and an update with 1996 maps and data. The map project we created was more like one we did subsequently for the Silicon Valley Toxics Coalition. What follows is our original description:)

We created the interactive maps that provide the graphical navigational interface to the Chemical Scorecard. Click on the map to begin your interactive mapping tour of the Chemical Scorecard if you like, but make sure to explore ALL of the wonderful features of EDF's Chemical Scorecard beginning at http://www.scorecard.org/.

About two years ago EDF contacted us because they had seen our interactive map based Santa Cruz Toxics Release Inventory (below). They liked what we had done and contracted with us to do interactive WWW maps of 1995 TRI facilities with releases to the air and/or water for the entire U.S.

If you have comments, questions about any of the above projects, or if you would like to discuss a potential project please contact me.
