Two EPA employees, Marc M. Radell (a lawyer in the Philadelphia office of regional counsel) and Claudia Johnson (an environmental specialist in the Chicago office's water division), were indicted today on four felony counts of perjury and obstruction of justice. They have been charged with falsifying documents that supported the agency's legal defense of its 1996 decision to let some Native-American tribes in Wisconsin regulate the surface water quality in and around their reservations near Green Bay, Wisconsin.
