The above map shows the cummulative effect for cancer cases for all HAPs in the CEP database that have an associated EPA benchmark value. The risk for cancer is clearly much higher than the Clean Air Act goal of 1 in 1 million individuals. The cancer risk ranges from 47 to 1,543 additional cancer cases - a high of over 1500 additional cancer cases per million individuals.
