Using Dual Maps
- Drag and drop the street view marker or click on a blue outlined street to display the street view for that location.
- The Virtual Earth map centre changes when the Google map centre changes (but not vice versa).
- The Google Local Search bar can be used to find addresses, businesses, landmarks, towns or cities.
- When a search result is clicked on street view imagery is displayed where available.
- To bookmark a Street View or Google Map location, use the link marked 'GM'.
- To bookmark a Bird's Eye View or Virtual Earth location, use the link marked 'VE'.
- Use the GM (Google Maps) link to create a new Dual Map by copying and pasting the link into section C below (Paste Google Maps link) and click 'Set'.
Note: When searching, the street view displayed may not always match the search result. This depends upon the geocoding accuracy of each Google search result which is not always 100% (though generally accuracy is good).
